Dvorak – Symphony 9 From New World

“One of the best loved, mostly performed symphonies by any composer, the New World Symphony is wonderful to listen to and amazing to play!

Dvorak accepted the commission from the New York Philharmonic Orchestra whilst Director of the National Conservatory of Music of America and proceeded to write a piece based on the spirit of native American music rather than specific examples. The result is a feast of great tunes wrapped in his customary fresh sound world. I love it, and so will you, especially from the inside.

Copious amounts of tea and cake will sustain you.”  – Richard Howarth – Music Director
